Juventus have reached an agreement with Atlético Madrid striker Alexander Sørloth, according to reports from Enzo Bucchioni of TuttoMercatoWeb.
The Norwegian international, who turns 31 in December, has accepted a four-year contract worth €4 million per season and is expected to replace Dusan Vlahovic as the club’s new leading striker.
Sørloth is viewed as an ideal fit for Luciano Spalletti’s tactical vision. Standing nearly two meters tall, the powerful forward combines physical presence with solid technical ability, making him effective both inside the penalty area and in link-up play.

Despite not being a regular starter for Atlético Madrid last season, he still managed to score 13 goals and remains a highly respected attacking option following previous spells with RB Leipzig, Real Sociedad, and Villarreal.
Juventus Push to Finalize Deal with Atlético Madrid
The final step is reaching an agreement with Atlético Madrid. The Spanish club has taken time to evaluate its options, with several Premier League sides also monitoring Sørloth’s situation.
Atlético are believed to be hoping for a bidding war, but Juventus are strengthened by the player’s clear desire to join the Bianconeri.
Negotiations are expected to continue around the €30 million mark, which is close to what Atlético originally paid Villarreal for the striker.
Discussions could also involve Nico González, who is keen to remain in Spain after his recent loan spell. Juventus value the Argentine at around €25 million, while Atlético boss Diego Simeone is reportedly a strong admirer of the player.
There is growing optimism that an agreement can be reached quickly, as Sørloth has informed both clubs that he wants his future resolved before the upcoming World Cup in order to focus fully on international duties.
Kim Min-jae, Lobotka and Brahim Diaz Also on Juventus Radar
According to Bucchioni, Spalletti has personally pushed for Sørloth’s arrival, preferring the Norwegian’s profile to that of Randal Kolo Muani.

Nevertheless, Juventus are still expected to reopen talks with Paris Saint-Germain regarding the French forward once the futures of Jonathan David and Loïs Openda are clarified.
The Turin giants are also exploring defensive reinforcements, with Bayern Munich centre-back Kim Min-jae emerging as a serious target.
The South Korean defender previously thrived under Spalletti at Napoli and is reportedly interested in a reunion with the Italian coach. Juventus view Kim as a potential defensive leader capable of initiating attacks from the back.
His arrival could raise questions about the future of Gleison Bremer. While the Brazilian remains highly regarded, reports suggest Juventus could consider offers in the region of €40 million despite his much higher release clause. Bremer is also eager to continue playing Champions League football.
In midfield, Juventus continue to monitor Stanislav Lobotka, another player admired by Spalletti from their time together at Napoli. The Slovak international is seen as a more traditional deep-lying playmaker who could complement Manuel Locatelli in midfield.
Meanwhile, Brahim Díaz remains another key objective. The former AC Milan playmaker is highly appreciated by the Juventus hierarchy, and talks could accelerate once Real Madrid complete their internal restructuring and finalize the arrival of José Mourinho.
With Spalletti playing a major role in transfer decisions, Juventus are rapidly building a squad tailored to his vision, and the club’s summer business may only be just beginning.
