Al-Ittihad and Zhegrova, this is asking price by Juventus

Al-Ittihad have made contact regarding Juventus winger Edon Zhegrova, although no official offer has been submitted yet.

According to TuttoJuve, the Saudi club has made an initial inquiry to assess the Kosovo international’s availability and understand the financial conditions required to complete a potential deal.

Zhegrova is reportedly open to a move to Saudi Arabia, which could help accelerate negotiations in the coming days. However, Juventus are not prepared to sanction his departure on unfavorable terms and want to recover at least the investment made when they signed him from Lille in September 2025.

Juventus Want to Protect Their Investment

The initial valuation is believed to be around €15 million, although Juventus could push the overall package higher through achievable bonuses and a percentage of any future sale.

Al-Ittihad have not yet presented a formal proposal, meaning there is currently no official figure attached to their interest. The Saudi club has simply requested information from both Juventus and the player’s representatives.

The Saudi option could nevertheless be more attractive to Juventus than Lazio’s proposal. The Italian club has reportedly explored a straight loan, a formula that would not immediately generate revenue for the Bianconeri.

A permanent transfer, or a loan with an obligation to buy, would better suit Juventus’ financial objectives.

Juventus paid €14.3 million for Zhegrova, plus €1.2 million in additional costs and potentially another €3 million in bonuses. With his contract running until 2030, his remaining book value is estimated at slightly above €12 million. A sale below that figure could therefore result in a capital loss.

For this reason, the realistic starting point could be €15–18 million, with Juventus potentially accepting around €15 million guaranteed plus bonuses.

Zhegrova’s Fitness Remains a Concern

The player’s willingness to move could be crucial. Zhegrova has struggled to find consistency since joining Juventus, with recurring physical issues limiting his impact.

Last season, he made 19 Serie A appearances, all from the bench, playing just 367 minutes without scoring or assisting. Including other competitions, he remained below 500 minutes.

His impressive preseason, including a goal against Chelsea, offered encouragement, but another muscular problem ruled him out against Parma. That latest setback has once again raised questions over his physical reliability.

For now, Al-Ittihad’s interest is concrete, but Juventus are still waiting for the first official offer.
