The transfer corridor between Turin and Madrid is heating up rapidly, with Juventus and Atlético Madrid discussing multiple names as both clubs prepare for a busy summer window.
According to MARCA, the Bianconeri are pushing ahead on several fronts after deciding not to renew the contract of Dusan Vlahovic, who will leave the club after four and a half years.

Alexander Sørloth has emerged as Juventus’ primary target to lead the attack next season. The Norwegian striker, 30, has already reached an agreement in principle with the Italian club through his representatives, while Juventus are now negotiating with Atlético Madrid over a potential transfer fee.
The talks between the two clubs also include discussions over Nico González and even José María Giménez, underlining the depth of the ongoing negotiations between the sides.
Ruggeri emerges as a surprise Juventus target
Alongside the bigger names, a new profile has entered the conversation: Matteo Ruggeri. The Italian left-back has enjoyed a strong season in Spain, making 47 appearances in all competitions, scoring seven assists.
And delivering standout performances in the Champions League quarter-finals against Barcelona, where he impressed by limiting Lamine Yamal and helping Atlético reach the semi-finals.
Despite his strong campaign, Ruggeri’s future is not fully secure. Atlético Madrid are reportedly considering a move for Chelsea’s Marc Cucurella, and should that deal materialise, the 23-year-old could be allowed to leave.
His valuation is set between €20–25 million, a figure considered manageable for Juventus, especially given ongoing negotiations between the two clubs.
Juventus’ interest, as reported by MARCA, is also closely linked to the potential departure of Andrea Cambiaso, who has attracted attention from Barcelona, while interest from Como has cooled in recent weeks. Should Cambiaso leave, Ruggeri would become a concrete option for the Bianconeri.
However, Juventus are not alone in the race. Roma are also monitoring the situation closely, with Gian Piero Gasperini reportedly keen on reuniting with the full-back he previously developed at Atalanta.

Ruggeri made 109 appearances for the Bergamo club, scoring twice and providing 10 assists, and was part of the squad that won the Europa League in the 2023/24 season under Gasperini’s guidance.
With multiple clubs interested and several deals interconnected, Ruggeri’s future could become one of the more intriguing storylines of the transfer market—especially as Juventus and Atlético continue to negotiate across several fronts.
