Ahead of kick-off, here are some of the key statistics and talking points surrounding the opening fixture.
Juventus’ Strong Record Against Frosinone
Juventus have won their last five Serie A meetings with Frosinone, after drawing their first-ever encounter with the Ciociari in September 2015.
That match ended 1-1, with Simone Zaza scoring for the Bianconeri before Leonardo Blanchard equalised in stoppage time.
Since then, Juventus have dominated the fixture, winning the following five meetings by an aggregate score of 12-3. The Bianconeri have also scored at least twice in each of those victories.
Juventus have kept a clean sheet in six of their nine meetings with Frosinone across Serie A, Serie B and the Coppa Italia.
Among the teams Juventus have faced at least five times in all competitions since 1929/30, only Piacenza (83%) and Crotone (75%) have a higher clean-sheet percentage against the Bianconeri than Frosinone (67%).

Sunday’s fixture will also be historic, as Frosinone and Juventus will meet on Matchday 1 of Serie A for the first time ever.
Kolo Muani and Yıldız Among the Key Figures
Randal Kolo Muani has been particularly prolific since joining Juventus. The French striker has averaged a goal every 146 minutes in Serie A, giving him the best goals-per-minute ratio of his career at a club in Europe’s top five leagues.
Meanwhile, Frosinone holds a special place in Kenan Yıldız’s Serie A story. The Turkish forward scored his first-ever Serie A goal against Frosinone on December 23, 2023, at the Benito Stirpe.
Yıldız was also the Serie A forward who covered the greatest distance while carrying the ball last season, travelling almost seven kilometres (6,826 metres) with the ball at his feet.
