Despite impressive defensive statistics on paper, Juventus are preparing for a major rebuild at the back as concerns continue to grow over the team’s overall stability and consistency.
According to reports from La Stampa, the club’s management, together with head coach Luciano Spalletti, are already working on a significant defensive revolution for next season.

Juventus have kept six clean sheets in their last eight matches and conceded only two goals during that stretch. With just 30 goals allowed in Serie A so far, the Turin club still possesses one of the league’s strongest defensive records, trailing only Como, Roma and Napoli in defensive efficiency.
However, the numbers reveal a deeper problem. Reports suggest that at least 13 goals conceded this season came directly from costly individual mistakes.
The latest example arrived against Hellas Verona after a major error by defender Gleison Bremer. Another worrying statistic highlights Juventus’ fragile starts in matches, with 15 goals conceded from the very first shot faced by the team.
For this reason, the club is determined to reshape its defensive structure with players who can offer not only solidity, but also quality in possession and confidence while building from the back.
Alisson, Kim and Grimaldo Among Main Targets
One of the priority names linked with Juventus is Alisson Becker. The Brazilian goalkeeper is believed to be open to the move, while the Italian giants are now waiting for a response from Liverpool FC regarding a potential transfer.
Juventus are also monitoring Kim Min-jae, who previously thrived under Spalletti at Napoli during their Scudetto-winning campaign.

The South Korean defender could reportedly leave FC Bayern Munich with only one year remaining on his contract, and his strong relationship with Spalletti may play a key role in negotiations.
On the flanks, Alejandro Grimaldo has emerged as another important target after an outstanding season with Bayer 04 Leverkusen, contributing 14 goals and 12 assists.
Juventus see the Spanish full-back as an ideal fit for Spalletti’s attacking philosophy, especially if uncertainty continues around Andrea Cambiaso.
Alternative options remain under consideration, including David Raum of RB Leipzig.
Meanwhile, Bremer is no longer considered untouchable, with a €58 million release clause active until August 10.
A potential sale could help finance Juventus’ ambitious summer rebuild as the club aims to return to the top of Italian and European football.
