Juventus have reportedly turned down an approach from Inter for winger Nico Gonzalez, with the Bianconeri unconvinced by the Nerazzurri’s proposed swap package.
According to La Stampa, discussions between the two Serie A giants have taken place, but the gap between the clubs’ evaluations remains significant.
Inter are said to have offered two players currently considered available on the market in an attempt to convince Juventus to part ways with the Argentine international.

The proposal reportedly included midfielder Davide Frattesi and French defender Benjamin Pavard, who spent last season on loan at Marseille.
Despite the quality and experience of both players, Juventus were not persuaded by the offer and decided not to move forward with negotiations under those terms.
Juventus Have a Different Target in Mind
Rather than accepting Inter’s proposal, Juventus reportedly responded by requesting Brazilian defender Carlos Augusto.
The versatile 1999-born defender is highly appreciated by head coach Luciano Spalletti, who values his ability to play in multiple defensive roles and believes he would strengthen the squad ahead of the new season.
At this stage, however, the two clubs remain far apart, and there is no agreement that would pave the way for Nico Gonzalez to switch to Inter.
Atletico Madrid Remains Nico’s Preferred Destination
Although Nico Gonzalez is still expected to leave Juventus before the transfer window closes, his preferred destination is believed to be Atletico Madrid.
A return to the Spanish club is understood to be the Argentine’s first choice, but negotiations for a permanent transfer have yet to make significant progress.

The main obstacle remains the difference between Juventus’ asking price and Atletico Madrid’s valuation, leaving the deal far from completion for the time being.
Roma have also shown interest in the winger, although their position is currently considered less advanced than that of the other clubs monitoring his situation.
As reported by La Stampa, Nico Gonzalez’s future remains one of Juventus’ key transfer storylines, with several clubs keeping a close eye on developments as the summer market enters a crucial phase.
