Juventus Find New Exit Route for Jonathan David

Jonathan David remains outside Luciano Spalletti’s plans at Juventus, with the club now exploring possible solutions for the Canadian striker’s future.

According to Calciomercato, a new possibility could emerge involving Galatasaray, particularly if the Turkish club fails to complete a move for AC Milan star Rafael Leão.

Juventus are still considered an incomplete squad despite the recent arrivals of Kerim Alajbegovic and Randal Kolo Muani.

The two attacking additions have strengthened Spalletti’s options, but they have not completely addressed the coach’s demands ahead of the new season.

The Bianconeri are therefore continuing to work on the market, with the club expected to bring in another three or four players.

One of Spalletti’s priorities is another high-profile attacking option who can play alongside Kolo Muani and provide greater depth and variety in the final third.

Zirkzee Remains a Key Option for Juventus

At present, Joshua Zirkzee appears to be the hottest name on Juventus’ shortlist. The Dutch forward has gained further importance as the club encounters difficulties in pursuing other targets, including Mateo Pellegrino and Alexander Sørloth.

Kolo Muani is not the only recent attacking arrival. Juventus have also added young forward Ekhator, while Loïs Openda, who was no longer considered part of the club’s plans, left Turin last week to join Lyon on loan.

However, further departures are expected. Arkadiusz Milik remains on the list of players Juventus are looking to move on, while David is arguably the most important case to resolve.

The Canadian international has reportedly failed to convince Spalletti, leaving Juventus searching for a new destination for the former Lille striker.

Several clubs from Ligue 1 and the Premier League have already made enquiries, but another route could now become particularly interesting.

According to Calciomercato, Galatasaray could consider making a move for David if their attempt to sign Leão from AC Milan fails. The Turkish side could therefore turn to the Canadian as an alternative solution for their attack.

Juventus are reportedly valuing David at around €30–35 million. The striker remains under contract until 2030 and earns more than €6 million per season, meaning that finding a suitable agreement could be crucial for Juventus as they continue reshaping Spalletti’s squad.
