Pjanic offer a Wonderkid to Juventus

Italy discovered Kerim Alajbegović’s talent, somewhat unexpectedly, during Bosnia’s match in Zenica. His performance immediately caught attention, with his technical ability, confidence, and personality standing out.

Despite being only 18 years old — born in 2007 — the Bayer Leverkusen prospect showed the qualities of a player capable of taking centre stage, dominating the game with the ball at his feet.

According to Tuttosport, Alajbegović has become one of the hottest names on the transfer market, attracting interest from several major European clubs.

In Italy, Atalanta, Napoli, and Roma are closely monitoring his situation, while abroad there have been moves from Chelsea, Borussia Dortmund, Newcastle, Sunderland, and Real Betis.

At the moment, Atalanta appear to be the club with the strongest position. Cristiano Giuntoli, however, has already moved early to explore the possibility of signing the Bayer Leverkusen youngster, who is considered one of the most interesting attacking talents of his generation.

Juventus monitoring Alajbegović but priorities remain elsewhere

Alajbegović is a versatile attacking player capable of operating across the entire attacking midfield area. His preferred position is on the left wing, but he has already demonstrated his ability to play as a number 10 and on the right side as well.

This profile perfectly matches what Juventus are looking for. The Bianconeri are searching for a creative player who can add quality and unpredictability in the final third, especially with hopes that Brahim Díaz can prove himself in Turin during the upcoming season.

Meanwhile, former Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanić has already contacted Ricky Massara regarding Alajbegović.

The new Juventus sporting director had followed the player’s development during his time at Roma and had considered a potential move before leaving the capital club.

However, signing the Bosnian talent would be a complicated operation. The main obstacle is his valuation: Bayer Leverkusen are reportedly asking for at least €30 million, a figure considered very high for Juventus at this stage of the summer window.

Massara did not close the door on Pjanić’s proposal. Instead, he asked for time and suggested waiting in case Alajbegović does not receive an offer that fully convinces him.

This is also why the player has not yet given a definitive answer to Atalanta despite their strong interest.

For Juventus, the priority at the moment remains solving more urgent issues, particularly in goal and attack.

The Bianconeri are also keeping an eye on another young talent from South America: André, Corinthians midfielder born in 2006.

Massara has been monitoring him for some time, although Juventus are currently unable to accelerate negotiations. Fenerbahçe have already presented a €15 million offer to the Brazilian club and could take advantage of the situation.

As with Alajbegović, Juventus appreciate the talent but must first focus their resources on immediate needs before investing in long-term prospects.
