Juventus have reportedly made an initial enquiry over the availability of Arsenal winger Gabriel Martinelli, but the Premier League club’s asking price could prove to be a significant obstacle in any potential negotiations.
According to Calciomercato, the Bianconeri have contacted Arsenal to gather information about the Brazilian international, who has emerged as one of the names being monitored as Juventus continue to explore attacking reinforcements ahead of the new season.
While the Turin giants admire Martinelli’s pace, versatility, and ability to play across the front line, a deal currently appears difficult due to the financial demands involved.

Arsenal Open to Sale, But Only for the Right Price
As reported by Calciomercato, Arsenal do not consider Martinelli untouchable and would be willing to listen to offers under the right circumstances.
However, the Gunners have placed a valuation of between €45 million and €50 million on the 24-year-old, a figure that has already cooled Juventus’ initial interest.
The Italian club are carefully managing their transfer budget this summer and are unwilling to commit such a significant amount unless player sales create additional financial flexibility.
While Martinelli remains an attractive profile, Juventus are expected to continue assessing more affordable alternatives before deciding whether to make a concrete move.
Bayern Lead the Race as Serie A Clubs Step Back
Juventus are not the only Serie A side to have shown interest. Roma have also been linked with the Brazilian winger, but they too are expected to back away because of Arsenal’s valuation, making an Italian transfer increasingly unlikely at this stage.
Instead, Martinelli’s future could remain outside Serie A. Bayern Munich are believed to be one of the strongest contenders should Arsenal decide to negotiate.

While Premier League rivals Newcastle United and Manchester United are also monitoring the situation and could submit offers in the coming weeks.
For now, Juventus’ enquiry appears to have been an exploratory one rather than the beginning of advanced negotiations.
Unless Arsenal soften their demands or the Bianconeri significantly increase their transfer budget, Martinelli looks more likely to either remain in England or secure a high-profile move elsewhere, with Calciomercato indicating that the race is still very much open.
