Forget Mateta and Sorloth? Juventus Eye TWO New Strikers 

The transfer window has entered its most intense and decisive phase, and tension remains extremely high at Juventus, particularly over the club’s plans for the attack.

The Bianconeri hierarchy is working around the clock to unlock a complicated situation before the transfer market closes, with one clear objective.

To provide Luciano Spalletti with another recognised centre-forward capable of bringing physical presence, personality and a significant number of goals to the squad.

However, every potential incoming operation remains closely linked to the departures currently pending. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus’ immediate priority is the future of Jonathan David.

Until the Canadian striker leaves, the club’s financial resources remain tied up, making it extremely difficult to complete another major signing.

The situation is further complicated by the limited time available. Juventus need to reduce their wage bill and create the necessary room for another attacking addition, meaning that the final days of the window could prove decisive.

Sorloth Remains Difficult as Juventus Consider Alternatives

Juventus have already had to absorb the disappointment of missing out on Joshua Zirkzee, who is now set to join Fiorentina. Following that setback, Giovanni Carnevali and Damien Comolli have intensified their efforts to identify another solution for Spalletti’s attack.

One of the names receiving particular attention is Alexander Sorloth. However, negotiations with Atletico Madrid are proving extremely complicated, with the Spanish club showing little willingness to make the Norwegian striker available on favourable terms.

At the same time, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that other possibilities have emerged. Jean-Philippe Mateta of Crystal Palace has recently entered the picture, while Juventus continue to monitor Arnaud Kalimuendo and Nick Woltemade.

Woltemade, in particular, could become one of the most intriguing options on the market.

With the striker reportedly close to leaving Newcastle, several major European clubs have shown interest, creating significant international competition and making any potential deal particularly challenging.

Juventus Ready to Wait for the Right Opportunity

With the transfer deadline approaching, Juventus appear increasingly prepared to adopt a waiting strategy.

Rather than rushing into an expensive deal, the club could remain alert for a last-minute opportunity, hoping that favourable circumstances or a late change in negotiations will open the door to the ideal striker.
