Juventus send OFFICIAL offer for Pellegrino

Juventus have stepped up their search for a new striker by making an opening offer for Parma forward Mateo Pellegrino, one of the club’s top attacking targets for the remainder of the summer transfer window.

According to Tuttosport, the Bianconeri have already made their first move, but Parma have swiftly rejected the proposal.

Following the departure of Dusan Vlahovic, Juventus are determined to strengthen their attacking department after an underwhelming campaign in front of goal.

While negotiations continue with Paris Saint-Germain over Randal Kolo Muani, the Turin giants are also pushing to sign Pellegrino, a player highly appreciated by head coach Luciano Spalletti.

Parma Reject Juventus’s First Proposal

Tuttosport reports that Juventus offered a deal consisting of an initial loan with an obligation to buy worth around €30 million.

However, Parma immediately turned down the proposal, as the Serie A side prefers a permanent transfer that would allow them to receive the full transfer fee upfront and reinvest the funds into strengthening their own squad.

The rejection does not necessarily end Juventus’s pursuit, but it makes it clear that Parma are unwilling to negotiate under terms that delay payment.

Parma CEO Opens the Door to a Future Sale

Parma CEO Federico Cherubini admitted that Pellegrino could eventually leave the club if the right offer arrives, although he stressed that no decision has been made yet.

Speaking to Gazzetta di Parma, Cherubini acknowledged that it is natural for the 24-year-old Argentine to attract interest from major clubs after his impressive development since arriving from Argentina.

He explained that, should Pellegrino decide to take the next step in his career, Parma would only sanction the transfer if it generated enough funds to reinvest in the squad and continue the club’s growth.

For now, Juventus remain interested, but if they want to secure one of Spalletti’s preferred attacking targets, they will likely need to return with an improved offer that satisfies Parma’s financial demands.
