Juventus could be considering another name to strengthen their attack, with Newcastle striker Nick Woltemade reportedly emerging as a potential option for the Bianconeri.

According to TuttoJuve, the 2002-born German forward is among the profiles that could enter Juventus’ evaluations as they continue to assess solutions for the attacking department.

Standing at almost two metres tall, Woltemade would offer a very different physical profile and could provide Juventus with an imposing presence in the final third.

Woltemade Could Be Available on Loan

Woltemade’s situation at Newcastle could make the possibility of a move particularly interesting. The Magpies invested heavily in the striker only a year ago, spending around €75 million to sign him from Stuttgart.

However, after a second half of the previous Premier League campaign that reportedly fell below expectations, Newcastle could now be open to considering his departure on a temporary basis.

That possibility could attract several clubs, with Juventus not the only Italian side monitoring the situation. Napoli are also understood to be evaluating Woltemade, potentially as an alternative option to Rasmus Højlund.

For Juventus, a loan could be significantly more realistic than a permanent transfer.

Newcastle’s original investment would make a permanent deal extremely expensive, while Woltemade’s salary of approximately €5.5 million per season would add another layer of difficulty to any immediate purchase.

A temporary move, therefore, could offer Juventus a more manageable route if the club decides to pursue the German forward. His size, physical strength and different characteristics could also give the Bianconeri another attacking profile to work with.

At this stage, Woltemade should be viewed as a name under consideration rather than an imminent Juventus signing. Much will depend on Newcastle’s intentions and whether the Premier League club ultimately decides that a loan is the best solution for the striker.
