Juventus could be forced into a difficult decision this summer as the club looks to strengthen its midfield while staying within financial limits.
According to Tuttosport, the Bianconeri are considering the sale of one of their most valuable players, Khéphren Thuram, if the right offer arrives.

The club’s current financial situation, shaped by the UEFA Settlement Agreement and strict budget constraints, means Juventus cannot complete multiple high-profile signings without generating significant income.
As things stand, the Italian giants are only in a position to sign either Franck Kessie or Stanislav Lobotka, unless an important departure changes the picture.
Thuram Sale Could Unlock Double Transfer
Tuttosport reports that Thuram has emerged as the leading candidate to be sacrificed. The French midfielder has attracted serious interest from Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain and Galatasaray, with Juventus reportedly valuing him at more than €40 million.
Should a club meet that asking price, Juventus would seriously consider approving the transfer. The funds raised would allow the Turin side to pursue both Kessie and Lobotka, giving the midfield a significant boost ahead of the new season.
Lobotka remains the more difficult target. Napoli are working to extend the Slovak international’s contract, which currently runs until 2027 and includes a €25 million release clause valid only for clubs outside Italy.
Even if Napoli were willing to negotiate, they are unlikely to sell one of their key players to a direct Serie A rival for less than €30-35 million.

Kessie Open to Serie A Return
Kessie’s situation appears more straightforward, although his salary remains the biggest obstacle.
The former AC Milan midfielder, now playing in Saudi Arabia, is reportedly willing to accept a substantial wage reduction in order to return to Serie A, making him an increasingly realistic option for Juventus.
Meanwhile, Juventus would rather keep Andrea Cambiaso, despite continued interest from other clubs, while Bremer is also expected to remain in Turin.
With those two considered important pieces of the project, Thuram has become the player most likely to generate the funds needed for reinforcements.
According to Tuttosport, Juventus’ transfer strategy could now hinge on whether a major offer for Thuram arrives.
If it does, the Bianconeri may have the financial freedom to completely reshape their midfield before the transfer window closes.
