Four years after leaving AC Milan, Franck Kessie appears ready to make his long-awaited return to Serie A.

The experienced Ivorian midfielder has entered the final stages of his contract with Al Ahli and has reportedly made a clear decision about his future, with Juventus emerging as his preferred destination.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Kessie has placed the Bianconeri at the top of his list, turning down interest from both Atalanta and Fiorentina.

The 29-year-old is said to be determined to wear the Juventus shirt, giving the Turin giants a significant advantage as negotiations continue.

Juventus’ new CEO and general manager, Giovanni Carnevali, is now working to finalize an agreement with the player’s representatives.

The club sees Kessie as a key addition to strengthen the midfield ahead of the new season, believing his experience, physical presence and winning mentality could provide an immediate boost.

Spalletti Awaits Midfield Reinforcement

The deal is reportedly progressing well, with optimism growing that an agreement could be reached in the coming days. If everything goes according to plan, Kessie could soon complete his move and begin a new chapter in Turin.

Head coach Luciano Spalletti is eagerly awaiting the arrival of the former Atalanta, AC Milan and Barcelona midfielder, who remains one of the most accomplished African players of his generation.

His ability to win duels, cover large areas of the pitch and contribute in both defensive and attacking phases makes him an attractive option for Juventus’ evolving midfield.

After successful spells in Italy and Spain before moving to Saudi Arabia, Kessie now looks ready to test himself once again in one of Europe’s top leagues. His familiarity with Serie A could allow him to settle quickly and make an immediate impact.

While the final details still need to be completed, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Juventus are increasingly confident of securing Kessie’s signature.

If the negotiations continue on their current path, the experienced midfielder could soon become one of the club’s marquee signings of the summer transfer window.
