Expected Linuep against Torino

Forza Juventus

The pressure is mounting on Juventus ahead of one of the most important Derby della Mole clashes in recent years, as the Bianconeri prepare to face city rivals Torino in a match that could define their entire season.

A damaging 2-0 defeat against ACF Fiorentina in the previous round has left Juventus outside the Serie A top four and no longer in control of their Champions League destiny.

After slipping from third to sixth place, the Turin giants now need both a victory and favorable results elsewhere to keep their hopes alive heading into the final stages of the campaign.

Despite the setback, Juventus still arrive with reasons to believe. Their recent league form has been largely positive, with six wins from their last ten Serie A outings, while their away performances have shown notable consistency.

The Bianconeri are currently unbeaten in five consecutive league matches on the road, collecting important results against strong opposition including Atalanta and AC Milan.

Torino Looking to Spoil Juve’s Mission

Torino may already be certain of a bottom-half finish, but their recent performances suggest they are far from giving up. The Granata have lost only twice in their last seven league matches and recently earned an impressive draw against reigning champions Inter Milan.

Their home form has been particularly strong, remaining unbeaten in five straight Serie A matches in Turin.

Torino have also developed a more attacking identity in recent weeks, with most of their recent home games producing multiple goals and both teams frequently finding the net.

Historically, however, Juventus have dominated this rivalry. The Bianconeri have suffered only one defeat in the last 41 competitive Derby della Mole encounters dating back to 1995, underlining their long-standing superiority in one of Italian football’s fiercest rivalries.

The match will also feature important absences, with Torino defender Guillermo Maripán and Juventus centre-back Gleison Bremer both suspended, also Yildiz expected to miss after an injury.

With Champions League qualification hanging in the balance, Juventus know there is no margin for error.

Expected Starting XI by Spalletti according to Sky Sport :
