According to Tuttosport, Juventus are preparing for significant changes on the flanks once they resolve their financial situation through player sales.
Sporting CEO Giovanni Carnevali is expected to strengthen the full-back department, while new head coach Luciano Spalletti wants a squad capable of adapting to multiple tactical systems rather than being tied to a single formation.
Spalletti is known for valuing positional play and intelligent movement over rigid formations, believing that football is defined by space occupation and timing rather than numbers on a tactical board.
Cambiaso Exit Could Trigger Summer Reinforcements
Juventus finished last season with Weston McKennie operating on the right and Andrea Cambiaso on the left. While McKennie impressed once again at the Club World Cup, Spalletti reportedly sees the American as more valuable in central midfield.
Cambiaso’s future, however, remains uncertain. The Italian international is one of Juventus’ most valuable assets and could be sacrificed to generate funds if the right offer arrives.

The Bianconeri continue to value the full-back at around €40 million, with Barcelona keeping a close eye on his situation. Chelsea had also shown interest before shifting their focus elsewhere.
Despite admiring Cambiaso’s versatility and modern style of play, Spalletti could lose the defender if Juventus decide a sale is necessary.
Should that happen, the coach is expected to give highly-rated youngster Puczka an opportunity during pre-season.
The 2005-born left-back was one of Juventus Next Gen’s standout performers in Serie C last season, contributing 10 goals while also establishing himself as an excellent penalty taker.
Several Bundesliga clubs are interested in signing him on loan, although Juventus first need to extend his current contract, which expires in 2027.
Spence, Ruggeri and Mingueza Among Juventus Targets
If Cambiaso departs, Juventus are expected to move for an experienced replacement.

Among the names being monitored is Djed Spence of Tottenham, who can play on both flanks, while Matteo Ruggeri remains a player admired by the club despite the high financial demands involved.
Juventus are also searching for reinforcements on the right side. The club have not abandoned hope of signing Óscar Mingueza, whose contract with Celta Vigo has expired.
Arsenal are currently considered favourites to land the Spanish defender, while Aston Villa are also preparing an offer.
Nevertheless, Juventus have reopened talks after their initial approach last January failed to materialise and remain ready to act if Mingueza’s Premier League options fall through.
For now, however, Tuttosport reports that Juventus’ priority remains unchanged: generate funds through outgoing transfers before accelerating their plans to strengthen both full-back positions.
