Spalletti’s revolution: New Era begins

Forza Juventus

Juventus are wasting no time in preparing for the future, and they are doing so in full view rather than behind the scenes.

As club executive Damien Comolli had promised, the squad will be strengthened regardless of Champions League qualification.

Now, the Bianconeri have launched an ambitious recruitment drive, targeting several high-profile names to reshape the spine of the team, according to Sportmediaset.

Among the standout targets are Alisson Becker for the goalkeeping role, where a verbal agreement is reportedly already in place …

… and Bernardo Silva, who is being considered for a hybrid midfield-attacking role, although negotiations are expected to be long and complex.

The latest addition to the shortlist is Ardon Jashari, seen as a potential regista to orchestrate play from deep.

These are not casual targets. They reflect a clear strategy: rebuild the team’s central axis with elite quality.

Juventus are still very much in the race for a Champions League spot, but the ambition goes beyond qualification—they want to step out of the shadows and re-establish themselves as frontrunners next season under the guidance of Luciano Spalletti.

Building the Core of a Title Contender

While the search for a top striker remains a priority, Juventus are following a traditional blueprint—strengthening the spine first.

From goalkeeper to central midfielder to attacking playmaker, the club is focusing on restoring balance and identity before addressing other areas.

This approach mirrors the methods of past successful teams, where a solid core often defined title-winning sides. Spalletti’s influence is already visible, as he looks to inject both quality and personality into key positions.

The idea is simple but effective: build a team that can control games from the center and dictate tempo, rather than react to opponents.

The Striker Dilemma: Vlahovic or Lewandowski?

The most delicate issue remains the striker position, complicated by two major factors. First, Dušan Vlahović seemed close to renewing his contract, which would have ended the search for a new number nine.

However, his recent injury has slowed down negotiations, casting uncertainty over his long-term future. While a renewal is still possible, doubts have inevitably resurfaced.

Secondly, an intriguing alternative has emerged: Robert Lewandowski. The veteran striker could potentially leave FC Barcelona on a free transfer.

Although talks with the Spanish club are ongoing, Lewandowski is reportedly dissatisfied—not so much with the reduced financial offer, but with the prospect of playing a less central role.

At this stage of his career, Lewandowski is eager to remain a key figure in a competitive project. Both Juventus and AC Milan are monitoring the situation closely, with his agent expected to hold discussions with both clubs.

The Polish striker has not made a decision yet, but he is open to evaluating all options, including a move to Serie A. For Juventus, patience may be key.

While the striker situation develops, the club is already laying the foundations of a stronger squad. With renewed energy under Spalletti, optimism is growing—and as momentum builds, so too does ambition.
