Spalletti wants 4 new signings, the names

Juventus have entered a new phase of their summer transfer window after completing major investments for Kerim Alajbegovic and Randal Kolo Muani.

With significant funds already committed, the Bianconeri are expected to adopt a more cautious approach for the remainder of the market, focusing on free transfers, loan deals and player swaps rather than expensive permanent signings.

According to Giovanni Albanese, Juventus still want to strengthen at least four positions before the transfer window closes, but the club’s strategy has now shifted towards financially sustainable opportunities.

Goalkeeper and Defence: Vicario Emerges, Lucumí Remains the Priority

The goalkeeping situation remains uncertain as Juventus continue to evaluate the futures of Michele Di Gregorio and Mattia Perin, with one—or even both—potentially leaving before the end of the window.

After abandoning hopes of meeting Aston Villa’s valuation for Emiliano “Dibu” Martínez, and with Zion Suzuki reportedly closing in on a move to Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus have redirected their attention to Guglielmo Vicario.

The Tottenham goalkeeper is no longer considered part of the Premier League club’s plans, making a loan move an increasingly attractive solution for the Bianconeri.

Another name still under consideration is Vanja Milinković-Savić, although any deal would likely require Napoli to accept a player exchange, something that currently appears difficult to arrange.

In defence, Jhon Lucumí remains Juventus’ primary target. However, Bologna have yet to accept the conditions proposed by the Turin club several weeks ago, when there was also growing interest in Fabio Miretti from the Rossoblù.

Neither side is willing to compromise significantly on valuations, leaving negotiations at a standstill for now.

Juventus are also closely monitoring Benoît Badiashile, hoping to beat Napoli to the Chelsea defender. A loan move could become a realistic option later in the transfer window.

Midfield and Attack: Kessié, Frattesi, Reijnders and Zirkzee on the Radar

Juventus will use the remainder of pre-season to determine the type of midfielder Luciano Spalletti still needs. Sporting director Frederic Massara is considering a reunion with Franck Kessié, who is currently available as a free agent.

The main obstacle remains the midfielder’s salary demands, which are currently beyond Juventus’ wage structure. Everything could depend on the performances of Douglas Luiz and Arthur.

Should both convince Spalletti during pre-season, Juventus may instead pursue a different profile, with Davide Frattesi—possibly through a late swap deal—or former AC Milan midfielder Tijjani Reijnders, who could leave Manchester City on loan, emerging as intriguing alternatives.

The same cost-conscious strategy applies to the striker position. Until Dušan Vlahović secures a move away, he remains an option for Spalletti, who reportedly considers the Serbian the ideal No. 9 for his tactical system.

However, the financial issue remains unresolved, as Vlahović would need to lower his salary demands to repair relations with the club.

Meanwhile, Joshua Zirkzee has become one of Juventus’ most interesting attacking opportunities. The Manchester United forward is eager to leave Old Trafford and is reportedly open to working with Massara.

Initially identified as an alternative to Kolo Muani, Zirkzee is now viewed as a potential strike partner for the French international, with negotiations already underway.
