Matias Soule, ex-Bianconeri player, opens up about his time at Juventus and the journey that shaped his early career.

From his arrival as a young talent to the battles in Serie C, Soulé reflects on the highs, the challenges, and the memories of his adventure in black and white.

ROMA – JUVENTUS? “A special, very special match. I spent five years at Juventus, I was a sixteen-year-old kid. Sunday’s match is even more important because of the standings: both we and they are fighting for a Champions League spot”.

JUVE JOURNEY – “It was a phase that helped me a lot. It allows a young player to grow both competitively and personally, in a more gradual way”.

“From the youth team to the first team, you could feel the difference between the levels. Playing in Serie C real battles against experienced players helped me improve physically and technically”.

JUVE EXIT? “While I was playing for Frosinone, I was still owned by Juventus and thought I’d go back to wearing the black and white”.

But during the January window, they told me they had to sell me to bring in money, maybe even to a team in Saudi Arabia. That deal didn’t happen, but when I left for summer training camp, I already knew I had to go.

Thiago Motta and the derby? Matias Soule continue

THIAGO MOTTA – He used to joke around with me a lot. He’d tell me to stay, but he knew the situation. Disappointed expectations? No one saw that coming, especially after what he did at Bologna. But that’s football.

IF I SCORE? REVENGE? I haven’t thought about it yet, we’ll see. Normally, I don’t celebrate.
Who would I swap shirts with? Maybe Nico González another Argentine.

Still keep in touch with Juve players? With a few, yes we’re still in contact.
No, I don’t have revenge in mind. Right now, I’m just focused on Roma, ends Soule for La Stampa.
