Juventus remain active in the transfer market as they look to strengthen their attacking department ahead of next season.

The club’s priority is to provide coach Luciano Spalletti with at least two new forwards, and a new name has now emerged on the Bianconeri’s shortlist: Omar Marmoush.

According to reports from La Stampa, Juventus have initiated preliminary talks with Manchester City to assess the feasibility and financial conditions of a potential loan deal for the Egyptian forward.

Marmoush Struggling for Minutes at Manchester City

Marmoush joined Manchester City in January 2025 for a fee of around €75 million following an impressive spell in the Bundesliga.

However, the 1999-born attacker has struggled to secure regular playing time due to fierce competition in Pep Guardiola’s star-studded attack, led by Erling Haaland.

Despite limited opportunities last season, Marmoush still managed to score eight goals across all competitions, highlighting his ability to make an impact even with reduced minutes.

Juventus Monitoring Multiple Attacking Targets

Known for his pace, technical quality and tactical flexibility, Marmoush is highly regarded for his ability to operate across the front line. The Egyptian international can play as a centre-forward, second striker or winger, making him an attractive option for Spalletti.

A loan move appears to be the only financially viable solution for Juventus, especially considering Manchester City’s significant investment just 18 months ago.

It remains to be seen whether the Premier League champions would be willing to sanction a temporary departure and under what conditions.

Meanwhile, Juventus continue to evaluate several attacking options.

Alexander Sørloth and Randal Kolo Muani remain on the club’s radar, while Marmoush has now been added to the growing list of candidates as the Bianconeri prepare for a major overhaul in attack.
