Juventus are keeping a close eye on Stanislav Lobotka’s situation at Napoli, with the Slovakian midfielder reportedly still far from reaching an agreement over a new contract.

The 1994-born regista, who has established himself as an important figure for both Napoli and the Slovakia national team, is currently under contract until next June.

However, according to Sportmediaset, no agreement has yet been reached over an extension, potentially casting further doubt over his future at the club.

Juventus Ready to Make a Move for Lobotka

The uncertainty surrounding Lobotka’s contract could open the door for Juventus, who have been monitoring the midfielder for several months.

The Bianconeri could reportedly explore the possibility of making a move as early as January. Napoli would face a difficult situation if an agreement cannot be reached.

With Lobotka potentially entering the final months of his contract, the Partenopei would have little leverage to demand an excessive transfer fee if they want to avoid eventually losing the player for nothing.

Napoli do, however, have the option to trigger an automatic extension that could keep Lobotka at the club until 2028. Even if that clause is activated, Juventus could still have an opportunity to pursue the midfielder, potentially during next summer’s transfer window.

The key issue could ultimately be Lobotka’s contract conditions. If the Slovakian does not accept remaining under his current terms, his future at Napoli could remain uncertain — and Juventus may be ready to take advantage of the situation.
