Juventus ready to Hijack another Serie A Talent

Juventus are continuing to keep a close eye on the Italian market for emerging talents, and one name is reportedly standing out as a potential solution for the future: Lorenzo Palmisani.

The 2004-born Frosinone goalkeeper has enjoyed a breakthrough period that has established him among Italy’s most interesting young prospects.

His performances, including his early impact in Serie A, have reportedly caught Juventus’ attention, with the Bianconeri considering an early move to beat growing competition for the Italy Under-21 goalkeeper.

According to the report from Tuttosport, Juventus could even explore a deal as early as the January transfer window. However, Palmisani would not necessarily move immediately to Turin.

Juventus Could Repeat the Gatti Formula for Lorenzo Palmisani

The proposed strategy would see Juventus secure Palmisani’s future while allowing him to remain at Frosinone until the end of the season.

That would give the goalkeeper valuable regular playing time and allow him to continue developing before potentially becoming part of Juventus’ first-team project.

There is already a clear precedent for such an approach. Juventus used a similar strategy with Federico Gatti, signing the defender before leaving him at Frosinone for a period in Serie B.

The experience allowed Gatti to continue playing regularly before eventually making the step up to Turin.

A similar “Gatti-style” operation could now be considered for Palmisani: Juventus would move early, secure a highly rated prospect and then leave him in Frosinone to continue his development.

The potential deal could also be facilitated by the positive relationship between Giovanni Carnevali, Ricky Massara and agent Federico Pastorello, who represents the young goalkeeper.

If Juventus decide to act in January, Palmisani could become another long-term investment for the Bianconeri.
