Anguissa big opportunity for Juventus

Juventus could explore a move for Napoli midfielder Zambo Anguissa, with the Cameroon international reportedly facing an uncertain future in Naples.

The 30-year-old midfielder is currently under contract with Napoli until June and, according to Il Mattino, is now a long way from reaching an agreement over a contract extension.

Anguissa is reportedly demanding a significant salary increase to continue his career with the Partenopei.

Anguissa Demands Major Salary Increase

As reported by Il Mattino, Anguissa is asking for a salary of around €6 million per season to renew his contract. That would represent a substantial increase from the €3.6 million he currently earns.

Napoli are reportedly unwilling to meet those financial demands, creating the possibility of a major decision in the coming months.

Rather than risk losing an important player for nothing when his contract expires, the Serie A champions could consider putting Anguissa on the transfer market during the January window.

That scenario could attract Juventus. The Bianconeri have long appreciated Anguissa’s physical presence, defensive work and ability to control the midfiel.

His contractual situation could also make a potential deal more accessible, as Napoli would have less leverage to demand a substantial transfer fee with the player’s contract approaching its final months.

Juventus Could Make a Move

A deal between Juventus and Napoli would certainly be complicated given the rivalry between the two clubs, but the Bianconeri could still explore the opportunity if Anguissa becomes available.

Interestingly, the midfielder could remain a target regardless of who is in the Juventus dugout. Both Luciano Spalletti and Antonio Conte are understood to be admirers of Anguissa’s qualities, meaning the Cameroon international could fit into either coach’s plans.

For now, his future remains unresolved, but if Napoli decide to cash in during January, Juventus could be among the clubs monitoring the situation closely.
