The summer transfer window is already beginning to heat up, and a major battle could soon erupt between Juventus and AC Milan for one of Europe’s most physically dominant strikers.

According to Tuttosport, both Italian giants are preparing to go head-to-head for Alexander Sørloth, who is currently under contract with Atletico Madrid.

Both clubs are actively searching for a proven centre-forward capable of delivering goals consistently, and the Norwegian striker has reportedly emerged as one of the top names on their shortlist ahead of the upcoming transfer market.

Juventus See Sørloth as the Perfect Solution

Despite turning 31 next December, Sørloth continues to be viewed as a reliable and impactful striker at the highest level.

His imposing physical presence, aerial dominance, and clinical finishing make him an attractive option for teams looking to add more firepower in the final third.

For Juventus, the Norwegian international is considered an experienced and dependable solution capable of instantly improving the team’s attacking efficiency after a frustrating season in front of goal under Luciano Spalletti.

The club reportedly values his ability to lead the line alone, create space, and fit seamlessly into the tactical structure demanded by the manager.

Affordable Deal Could Spark Serious Race

One of the key reasons why the deal is gaining momentum is the financial aspect of the operation.

According to Tuttosport, Sørloth currently earns around €3 million per season plus bonuses — a salary considered fully compatible with Juventus’ new wage structure and long-term financial strategy.

Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid are believed to value the striker at around €35 million.

However, the Spanish side could be open to negotiating the final package by including performance-related bonuses tied to team and personal objectives, potentially making the transfer more accessible for interested clubs.

With both Juventus and Milan eager to strengthen their attacking departments, the race for Sørloth could quickly become one of the most intriguing transfer stories of the summer.
