Juventus ready last-minute transfer from Atalanta

With just one week remaining before the summer transfer window closes, Juventus have already completed significant work in the market, but the club’s plans are far from finished.

Giovanni Carnevali and the sporting department are still looking to strengthen Luciano Spalletti’s squad, with several areas requiring attention before the deadline.

One of the priorities in the final days is the search for a reliable alternative to Andrea Cambiaso on the left flank. Pierre Kalulu and Zeki Celik can both be deployed in that position and offer experience and versatility, but neither is a natural left-back.

Juan Cabal is also available within the squad, although the Colombian defender is reportedly among the players Juventus are willing to sell.

Sead Kolasinac Emerges as a Juventus Option

According to TuttoJuve, one of the profiles currently being seriously considered by Juventus’ transfer team is Sead Kolasinac.

The experienced Bosnia international could become an interesting solution for Spalletti thanks to his tactical versatility and ability to operate in several defensive roles.

Kolasinac is a natural left-footer and can play as a traditional left-back, as a central defender or as the left-sided centre-back in a three-man defensive system.

That flexibility could make him particularly attractive to Spalletti, who would have another experienced option capable of adapting to different tactical setups throughout the season.

His situation at the club level could also make a potential deal financially manageable for Juventus.

Kolasinac does not appear to be among Maurizio Sarri’s primary defensive choices, with the coach reportedly favouring defenders with different characteristics. This could open the door for Juventus to explore a move before the transfer window closes.

Experience and Versatility Could Be Key

From Juventus’ perspective, Kolasinac would offer more than simply cover for Cambiaso. His international experience, physical presence and ability to perform in multiple positions could provide Spalletti with valuable depth during a demanding campaign.
