Juventus are continuing to assess their defensive options as uncertainty grows over the future of Gleison Bremer.

While the Brazilian remains a key figure in Luciano Spalletti’s plans, recent developments have prompted the Bianconeri hierarchy to prepare contingency plans should the defender decide to leave Turin.

According to Giovanni Albanese, Juventus are actively evaluating the market for a left-footed centre-back capable of rotating with Lloyd Kelly, especially with Juan Cabal still unavailable.

However, the club’s defensive planning is also being shaped by the possibility of losing Bremer before the transfer window closes.

Galatasaray Renew Their Pursuit of Bremer

Galatasaray have stepped up their efforts to sign Bremer after an initial approach failed to convince the player.

The Turkish giants have now returned with an improved proposal worth €8 million net per season, approximately €2 million more than the defender currently earns at Juventus.

Although Bremer has not accepted the offer, he has also not ruled out the move, leaving the door open for further negotiations. Until recently, Juventus believed the Brazilian was unlikely to consider a transfer to Turkey or another league outside Europe’s traditional elite.

His willingness to listen to Galatasaray, however, has forced the club to reconsider its defensive strategy in case his stance changes.

Tomori and Todibo on Juventus’ Shortlist

While waiting for Bremer to make a final decision, Juventus continue to monitor potential replacements. Two names stand out: Fikayo Tomori and Jean-Clair Todibo.

Tomori is highly regarded by sporting director Ricky Massara, who worked closely with the English defender during AC Milan’s Scudetto-winning campaign.

With only one year remaining on his contract, the 28-year-old could represent an attractive market opportunity if Milan decide to negotiate.

Todibo, meanwhile, is once again on Juventus’ radar after previously coming close to joining the club during Cristiano Giuntoli’s rebuilding project.

Following West Ham United’s relegation from the Premier League, the French centre-back could now become available on loan, making him a financially viable option for the Bianconeri.

As reported by Giovanni Albanese, Juventus have not made any final decisions yet, but the club are ensuring they are prepared for every scenario as Bremer’s future remains one of the key storylines to watch in the final weeks of the transfer window.
