Newcastle set Woltemade’ price for permanent sale

Juventus could face a major decision regarding Nick Woltemade in the coming months, with Newcastle United reportedly already putting a significant price tag on the German striker.

Woltemade, born in 2002, joined Juventus on loan from Newcastle and is viewed as an interesting long-term option for the Bianconeri.

However, according to reports from England cited by Football Insider, Newcastle would be prepared to sell the forward permanently if the right offer arrives.

The Magpies are reportedly asking for €60 million for Woltemade, a figure that would also apply to Juventus should the Italian club decide to make his stay permanent.

Juventus keeping their distance for now

At this stage, Juventus are reportedly not planning to open negotiations with Newcastle. The club appear willing to take their time and assess Woltemade’s performances before making any decision on such a significant investment.

The German striker has so far had limited opportunities to establish himself as a regular starter. His only start came in the Europa League clash against NEC, where he made his mark by converting a penalty.

His situation could naturally change if he begins to receive more playing time and delivers consistently on the pitch.

Meanwhile, Bayern Munich remain interested in the Germany international. However, the Bundesliga giants are reportedly in no hurry to make an approach, with the possibility of waiting for Newcastle’s €60 million valuation to decrease over the coming months.

For Juventus, the next few months could therefore be crucial in determining whether Woltemade becomes a permanent part of the club’s project or returns to England.
