Juventus continue to work on multiple fronts in the transfer market and, after focusing heavily on strengthening both attack and defense, the club has now shifted significant attention toward midfield reinforcements.

Among the names that have resurfaced in recent weeks is Franck Kessie, the Ivorian midfielder who has long been linked with a move to Turin.

According to reports from TuttoJuve, Juventus management is evaluating several options to bolster the midfield, with the former AC Milan star emerging as one of the most concrete opportunities available.

A return to Serie A is understood to be an attractive prospect for Kessie, who enjoyed some of the best years of his career in Italy.

Juventus Reopen Talks With Kessie’s Camp

Kessie’s name was already on Juventus‘ shortlist during the January transfer window, when discussions centered around a potential summer move.

Although contacts cooled in the months that followed, the Bianconeri have now reopened the file and resumed conversations with the player’s representatives.

The club is currently assessing the overall feasibility of the deal, including the financial aspects involved.

From the player’s perspective, a return to Italian football would offer the chance to compete once again at the highest European level after his spell in Saudi Arabia.

Salary Sacrifice Could Pave the Way

One of the most encouraging factors for Juventus is Kessie’s reported willingness to lower his salary expectations.

Despite receiving an offer worth around €12 million per season from Al Ahli, the midfielder is said to be open to accepting significantly reduced terms in order to return to Italy and challenge himself in a more competitive environment.

Juventus have also carried out extensive evaluations of the player’s physical condition. During previous contacts with Kessie’s entourage, club officials requested detailed information regarding his fitness levels, with concerns initially centered on adapting from a league generally considered less intense than Europe’s top competitions.

The feedback received has reportedly been positive, with physical data providing reassurance about the midfielder’s condition and readiness to perform at a high level.

As a result, Juventus continue to view Kessie as a serious option for the upcoming season.

The coming weeks could prove decisive in determining whether renewed interest develops into formal negotiations and whether the Ivorian international becomes one of the key additions in Juventus’ new project.
