Juventus continue to keep a close eye on some of the most promising young talents in international football, and according to TuttoJuve, Manchester United youngster Joseph Junior Andreou, better known in football as JJ Gabriel, has reportedly been added to the club’s list of potential targets.

The talented youngster, who will turn 16 in October, is regarded as one of the most exciting prospects in English youth football.

However, his situation at Manchester United could be entering a delicate phase, with reports suggesting that Gabriel may be considering a change of club.

JJ Gabriel’s Manchester United Situation Raises Questions

Gabriel joined Manchester United’s academy at the age of 11, but his future at Old Trafford is now attracting considerable attention. Juventus are reportedly monitoring developments, alongside several other major European clubs.

Further speculation was sparked by the youngster’s decision to remove some Manchester United-related content from his social media profiles.

While this should not necessarily be interpreted as confirmation of an imminent departure, it has nevertheless fueled suggestions that the player could be considering his options.

Manchester United are expected to do everything possible to retain one of the brightest talents to have emerged from their academy in recent years.

Gabriel has earned the nickname “the little Messi” because of his technical qualities, including his acceleration, close control, creativity and ability to beat opponents in one-on-one situations.

Comparisons with Messi naturally carry enormous expectations for a player still so young, but Gabriel’s numbers have certainly attracted attention.

Last season, he reportedly scored 23 goals in 23 appearances in the English Under-18 league, a remarkable scoring record that helped him establish himself as one of the competition’s standout players and attract interest from scouts across Europe.

Juventus Could Enter the Race

Gabriel also became the youngest-ever winner of Manchester United’s Jimmy Murphy Young Player of the Year award, given to the most outstanding prospect in the club’s academy.

The recognition underlines the high regard in which he is held within the Red Devils’ youth setup. According to TuttoJuve, Juventus have begun gathering information about the youngster’s future as part of their wider strategy of identifying high-potential players at an early stage.

The club’s Next Gen project could potentially be an important part of any proposal presented to Gabriel and his family.

For now, there are no formal negotiations, and any potential transfer would have to comply with international regulations governing the movement of underage players.

Nevertheless, if Gabriel’s relationship with Manchester United genuinely begins to break down, the highly-rated English youngster could become one of the most sought-after young players in Europe over the coming months.

The Messi comparison should be treated with caution, but there is little doubt that Gabriel’s talent has already made an impression.

Juventus are watching closely, and if an opportunity emerges, the Bianconeri could look to make their move for one of the Red Devils’ most exciting academy jewels.
