Juventus Eye Carnevali’s €25M Gem

Juventus are reportedly keeping a close eye on Ismael Koné ahead of the January transfer window, with the Sassuolo midfielder emerging as a potential target for the Bianconeri.

According to Calciomercato, the 2002-born Canadian international is a player Juventus could seriously consider in the coming months.

Koné is one of the discoveries associated with current Juventus CEO Giovanni Carnevali, who knows the midfielder well from his time at Sassuolo.

Ismael Koné Could Become a January Opportunity

The midfielder’s situation could make him an interesting option for Juventus. Koné is currently recovering from a displaced fracture to his tibia and fibula, but his return to full fitness could significantly increase his appeal to the Turin giants.

If the Canadian manages to overcome the injury without any complications and proves that he has fully regained his physical condition, Juventus could potentially make an approach to Sassuolo for his signing.

However, a deal would not be straightforward. Koné is under contract with Sassuolo until June 2030, while his current market value is estimated at around €25 million. That would make him a significant investment for Juventus in the middle of the season.

For this reason, Juventus could look for a more affordable solution rather than paying the full asking price immediately.
