Juventus and Napoli are both looking to strengthen their squads during the January transfer window after experiencing inconsistent campaigns so far this season.
However, with financial restrictions limiting their spending power, both Italian clubs may need to sell players before being able to make significant additions.

One of the latest names to emerge on their radar is Sunderland midfielder Noah Sadiki, who is attracting growing interest from several major European clubs.
According to transfer expert Ekrem Konur, Juventus sporting director Giovanni Manna and Napoli’s Frederic Massara have both identified the 21-year-old Congolese midfielder as a potential target ahead of the winter transfer window.
Sunderland Set High Asking Price for Sadiki
Sadiki has established himself as an important figure in Sunderland’s midfield, impressing with his energy, athleticism and defensive qualities. His ability to cover ground, win possession and provide balance makes him an attractive option for clubs looking to strengthen their midfield departments.
However, Juventus and Napoli will face serious competition for his signature. Atletico Madrid, Liverpool and Newcastle are also reportedly monitoring the youngster’s situation, meaning the race for his services could become increasingly complicated.
Sunderland are also in a strong negotiating position. The Black Cats are believed to value Sadiki at between €40 million and €45 million, a significant fee that could prove difficult for the Italian clubs to afford without first generating funds through player sales.
Juventus and Napoli Face Financial Challenge
Signed in the summer of 2025 under former Roma executive Florent Ghisolfi, Sadiki has continued to demonstrate why he is considered an exciting midfield prospect.

Although his main strengths remain his physical presence, defensive contribution and dynamism, the Congolese international has also started to make an impact in front of goal. Earlier this season, he celebrated his first goal for Sunderland in a Europa League match against Torreense.
With several clubs competing for his signature, Juventus and Napoli will need to carefully assess their financial options if they decide to turn their interest into a concrete offer in January.
