Juventus are keeping a close eye on one of Italian football’s most exciting young prospects, with Sampdoria striker Lorenzo Mezzotero attracting growing interest from several European clubs.
The 18-year-old is considered one of the brightest emerging talents in Italian football. After an impressive campaign with Sampdoria’s Primavera side last season, Mezzotero has taken his performances to another level this term.

His numbers have been particularly remarkable. The young forward has scored eight goals in just five Primavera league appearances, earning himself a first-team opportunity.
He has already made his senior debut in Serie B and even managed to find the back of the net, further underlining his potential.
Juventus Leading the Race for Mezzotero
His rapid development has not gone unnoticed, with several clubs beginning to monitor his situation.
According to transfer journalist Ekrem Konur, Borussia Dortmund and Juventus are both following the teenager’s progress, while Club Brugge are also keeping tabs on his performances.
Juventus, however, appear to have moved further ahead in the race. The Bianconeri are reportedly the club that has come closest to making a move for the young striker, with a first offer potentially on the horizon.
The Turin giants are continuing to monitor promising talents as they look to strengthen their squad for the future, and Mezzotero could represent an interesting investment.

A 1.90m Striker With International Experience
Standing at 1.90 metres tall, Mezzotero possesses an imposing physical profile for a centre-forward. He is currently under contract with Sampdoria until 2028, meaning any interested club would need to negotiate a transfer with the Italian side.
Although born in Italy, the teenager has Azerbaijani roots through his mother and has already represented Azerbaijan’s Under-21 national team, making three appearances.
With eight goals in five Primavera matches and an encouraging start to his senior career, Mezzotero is quickly becoming a name to watch. Juventus now appear to be among the clubs most seriously interested in securing his signature before his value rises further.
