Genoa and Juventus face off with contrasting league positions but surprisingly similar recent form, as the hosts look to build on their latest results and the Bianconeri aim to maintain their winning momentum.

Despite sitting dangerously close to the relegation zone, Genoa have shown signs of improvement, collecting six of their seven Serie A points this season in their last three matches.

Their 1-0 victory over Venezia at the weekend provided another boost ahead of their return to the Stadio Luigi Ferraris. Genoa have collected all their league points at home this season and remain unbeaten in their last three home matches, recording two wins and a draw.

However, they have lost without scoring in each of their last three Wednesday home games in Serie A, a worrying statistic ahead of this difficult challenge.

Juventus Look to Continue Dominant Head-to-Head Record

Juventus secured a 2-0 away victory over Lecce last weekend, taking their points tally to four across the previous three league rounds.

Although their recent performances have been inconsistent, the Bianconeri have impressed on the road, losing just once in four away matches across all competitions.

Juventus have won their last four meetings with Genoa without conceding and have triumphed on four of their previous six visits to the Ferraris. They will be hoping to extend that impressive record as they chase another important three points.

Genoa’s Stephan El Shaarawy could be a threat late in the game, having scored his last five club goals after the 60th minute.

Juventus striker Randal Kolo Muani has also proved dangerous in the closing stages, with all three of his goals this season coming after the 80th minute.

Genoa could be without Kingsley Ehizibue, while Juventus continue to deal with several absences.
