9 Goals in 9 Games: Juventus want him

Juventus are already looking towards the future and have identified Monza striker Gustavo Varela as a potential transfer target.

The 21-year-old Portuguese forward has emerged as one of the most exciting talents in Italian football, making a remarkable impression with his performances this season. Varela has scored nine goals in just nine league appearances, attracting attention from several top Serie A clubs.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Juventus are among the clubs keeping a close eye on the youngster, with his impressive goalscoring form putting him firmly on the radar of the Bianconeri’s recruitment department.

Varela’s Impressive Form Attracts Top Clubs

Varela’s outstanding start to the campaign has not gone unnoticed. His consistency in front of goal and ability to make a difference in the final third have made him an increasingly attractive prospect for clubs looking to strengthen their attacking options.

At just 21, the Monza forward represents a potential long-term investment, fitting Juventus’ ambition to identify and develop young talent for the future.

€25-30 Million Could Be Enough for Varela

However, securing his signature would not necessarily be straightforward. Varela’s release clause is reportedly valued at between €25 million and €30 million, a figure that could spark competition among interested clubs.

Juventus are monitoring the situation closely as they assess their options, although it remains to be seen whether the Bianconeri will decide to make a concrete move in the coming transfer windows.

With nine goals in nine league matches, Varela is certainly a name worth keeping an eye on.
