Noah Atubolu has reportedly been offered to Juventus in recent days as the Bianconeri continue evaluating potential options for the future between the posts.

According to TuttoJuve, the young goalkeeper is attracting growing attention across Europe following an outstanding campaign with SC Freiburg.

The German shot-stopper, who turns 24 on May 22, is preparing for one of the biggest matches of his career — the Europa League final — after a remarkable 2025 season that has significantly raised his reputation.

Atubolu has not only impressed with consistency, but also entered Bundesliga history by becoming the first goalkeeper to save five consecutive penalties, surpassing notable names such as Frank Rost, Bernd Leno and Hans-Jörg Butt, who previously shared the record with four.

His season has been filled with milestones. During the 2024/25 campaign, Atubolu also set a new club record at Freiburg by going 609 consecutive minutes without conceding a goal, underlining both his concentration and reliability in high-pressure situations.

His athleticism, quick reflexes and composure have made him one of the most talked-about young goalkeepers in Germany.

Spalletti Looking for Experience and Certainty

Despite the growing excitement surrounding Atubolu, Juventus manager Luciano Spalletti reportedly has a different vision for next season.

While the club appreciates the goalkeeper’s potential and long-term upside, the current priority is understood to be a more experienced and proven profile.

The dream target remains Alisson Becker of Liverpool FC, a goalkeeper viewed internally as a world-class guarantee capable of immediately elevating the team.

If a move for Alisson does not materialize, Juventus could decide to continue with the current duo of Michele Di Gregorio and Mattia Perin.

Atubolu had also been linked in recent months with FC Bayern Munich and SSC Napoli. Speaking recently about comparisons with legendary goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, Atubolu remained humble, insisting he is focused only on his own development and believes his growth journey is still far from complete.
