Juventus are accelerating plans to reshape Luciano Spalletti’s squad, with the club’s priority now focused on offloading several first-team players before pushing ahead with new signings.
According to Giovanni Albanese, sporting director Giovanni Carnevali and the club’s recruitment team, including Frederic Massara and Ottolini, are working to reduce the squad size as quickly as possible, ideally by the end of July.
The Bianconeri are also looking to free up significant wage space, although some of the more complicated departures may not be completed until August due to the players’ salaries and contract situations.

Goalkeepers and Defence Face Major Changes
Michele Di Gregorio remains available for transfer despite apologizing to teammates following comments made by his agent. The goalkeeper would prefer to stay and compete for the backup role, but Juventus are actively searching for a new destination.
Joao Mario has returned from his loan spell at Bologna but is not part of Spalletti’s plans. Fiorentina have shown interest, while a return to Portugal also remains a possibility.
Federico Gatti’s future depends largely on his role within the squad. The Italian defender is willing to stay only if he is guaranteed regular playing time. Otherwise, he is prepared to seek a move elsewhere, with his situation also linked to Bremer’s future.
Lloyd Kelly could also be sacrificed if Juventus strengthen the left side of their defence. With Muharemovic and Jhon Lucumí under consideration, the club are unlikely to keep three left-footed centre-backs. Premier League interest could emerge for the English defender.
Juan Cabal has reportedly failed to convince Spalletti. Several Spanish clubs have made initial enquiries, but no concrete offers have arrived, making another loan move the most realistic outcome.
Midfield and Attack Also Under Review
Teun Koopmeiners appears set to leave after two disappointing seasons in Turin. Interest has surfaced from England, although Juventus are still waiting for a club willing to match his salary.
Arthur Melo has once again returned to Juventus after another loan spell, extending a long-running saga that began with his swap deal involving Miralem Pjanić. The Brazilian remains one of the club’s most difficult financial burdens to resolve.
Nico Gonzalez is another uncertain case. While Spalletti would reportedly welcome him back, the Argentine hopes to remain with Atletico Madrid. Juventus could also use him as part of a potential deal for Alexander Sørloth.
Edon Zhegrova is also expected to depart after an underwhelming campaign. Although Spalletti appreciates his qualities, the Juventus coach is reportedly looking for a more reliable option, leaving the Kosovo international available should suitable offers arrive.
Lois Openda has little chance of remaining in Turin after failing to convince both Igor Tudor and Spalletti. Juventus are expected to seek a loan move rather than a permanent sale, with the striker’s book value making an outright transfer difficult.
Jonathan David wants to stay and fight for his place, but according to Giovanni Albanese, Spalletti has already decided that the Canadian striker is not part of his plans.
Arkadiusz Milik finds himself in a similar position. The experienced forward no longer fits Juventus’ project, with the club determined to move on from players who cannot offer sufficient guarantees ahead of the new season.
With Carnevali, Massara and Ottolini pushing to streamline the squad, Juventus are preparing for one of the biggest clear-outs in recent years as Spalletti begins shaping a team better suited to his tactical vision.
