The new capital increase, worth up to €250 million and set to be proposed by Juventus’ board of directors at the shareholders’ meeting on November 3, could also have a significant impact on the club’s transfer plans — most likely in the summer, although a move in January cannot be ruled out.
According to Niccolò Ceccarini of Tuttomercatoweb, Juventus’ objective is clear: strengthen the squad. Securing Champions League qualification has become crucial, while Cristiano Giuntoli’s successors, Giovanni Carnevali and Frederic Massara, are already working to address several unresolved issues within the team.
One of the biggest priorities is midfield, where Juventus are lacking a player capable of controlling the tempo and dictating the rhythm of matches. For this reason, the Bianconeri are moving decisively to identify the right profile.

Højbjerg Emerges as a Key Midfield Target
One of the most important targets has once again become Pierre-Emile Højbjerg. The Marseille midfielder is not considered untouchable by the French club, although it is clear that Juventus would need to present a substantial offer to secure his services in the middle of the season.
Beyond his technical qualities, the Denmark international would also bring unquestionable leadership — something that could help raise the level of the entire squad.
The idea would be to make room for Højbjerg by allowing Teun Koopmeiners to leave. The Dutchman has never fully convinced since arriving in Turin, despite Juventus investing more than €50 million in his signing.
Another area requiring attention is the left flank. Rayan Aït-Nouri remains an option, with the Algerian reportedly not part of Enzo Maresca’s tactical plans at Chelsea. Juventus could therefore explore the possibility of convincing the Blues to allow him to leave on loan.
Emerson Palmieri, who was already pursued during the summer transfer window, is another name to keep an eye on.
Juventus Also Monitoring Sesko and Balogun
Looking further ahead, Juventus will also have to address the goalkeeper and striker positions. Palmisani and Alisson are among the options being seriously considered for the future.
In attack, however, a move for Nick Woltemade appears difficult. Juventus have therefore turned their attention towards two other international profiles.
The Bianconeri are monitoring Benjamin Sesko of Manchester United and Folarin Balogun of Monaco.
Neither striker has enjoyed a particularly strong start to the season, but both possess international-level quality and could provide greater cutting edge to an attacking department that Juventus have struggled to make consistently effective.
