Juventus’ Double Move for Italian talents

Juventus continue to keep a close eye on the Italian transfer market as they look to strengthen the presence of Italian players within their squad.

As Giovanni Carnevali stated yesterday at the Festival dello Sport, the club’s objective is to further increase the number of Italian players in the Bianconeri squad, with several profiles from Roberto Mancini’s national team reportedly being monitored.

Cher Ndour Emerges as a Juventus Target

One of the names on Juventus’ radar is Fiorentina midfielder Cher Ndour. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Ndour is a player Carnevali particularly admires, with the Juventus director keen to bring the midfielder to Turin.

However, a potential deal would not be straightforward from a financial perspective. Fabio Paratici is reportedly valuing Ndour at around €40 million, a figure that could make negotiations difficult.

It remains to be seen whether Juventus will decide to turn their interest into formal negotiations with Fiorentina as early as the January transfer window.

Juventus eye also Kayode

Ndour is reportedly not the only Italian player attracting attention from the Bianconeri.

Juventus are also said to be monitoring Michael Kayode, the Brentford full-back whose future continues to be a topic of discussion around the Premier League’ club.

In Kayode’s case, the potential asking price would be even higher, reportedly above €45 million.
