After ending a frustrating run without a victory, Juventus head into their upcoming Serie A clash determined to build momentum.

The Turin giants travel to face Udinese, hoping another win will push them closer to the league’s top four and strengthen their position in the race for European football.

Udinese enter the match after a dramatic 2–2 draw against Atalanta, a game in which they had been leading 2–0 with just 20 minutes remaining.

Despite the disappointment of dropping two points, the result at least extended their unbeaten run and kept their hopes of climbing into the top half alive. Under coach Kosta Runjaić, Udinese have shown resilience, particularly at home.

Interestingly, three of their five home matches against the league’s current top seven sides ended in victories, each accompanied by a clean sheet. However, their overall record against stronger teams remains inconsistent, with nine defeats in 15 such encounters this season.

Juventus finally rediscovered their attacking rhythm last weekend with an emphatic 4–0 win over Pisa, bringing an end to a four-game winless streak.

That victory placed them just one point behind Como and AS Roma, both of whom sit above them in the standings and face each other this round. A win here could therefore propel Juventus into the top four.

Historically, the matchup has favored the Bianconeri. Juventus have won eight of their last nine meetings with Udinese and have taken victory in each of their last three visits to Udine without conceding a goal.

Yet defensive concerns remain, as Juventus have allowed three or more goals in four consecutive away matches this season.

Late goals could once again play a decisive role. Half of Juventus’ league goals have come after the 60-minute mark, highlighting their ability to finish strongly.

Keinan Davis has recently returned to form for Udinese, scoring twice since recovering from injury, while Jérémie Boga has found the net in consecutive appearances for Juventus.
