Forza Juventus

on

Juventus are reportedly stepping up their efforts to secure the long-term future of Nico Gonzalez, with the Argentine winger increasingly viewed as an important part of Luciano Spalletti’s plans.

According to Calciomercato, the Bianconeri are working to “lock down” the 1998-born Argentina international by extending his contract beyond its current terms.

Juventus’ intention could be to tie Gonzalez to the club until June 2030 or even 2031, while also offering him an improved salary.

Gonzalez Wants to Stay in Turin

Gonzalez has reportedly given his approval to continue negotiations, with the player convinced that he wants to remain in Turin for the long term.

His ambition is said to be to establish himself as one of Juventus’ technical and dressing-room leaders in the coming years.

The winger has also become increasingly important to Spalletti, who appreciates his versatility, qualities and contribution to the team. His growing role under the Italian coach has strengthened the feeling that Juventus want him to become a key figure for the future.

The latest developments also appear to have put the summer transfer rumours firmly behind Gonzalez.

Earlier reports had suggested that the former Fiorentina player could return to Atletico Madrid, where he spent last season on loan. However, Atletico ultimately decided against making his move permanent.

Now, the situation appears to be changing significantly. Juventus are working toward a long-term renewal, while Gonzalez himself appears increasingly determined to continue his career in Turin and build his future in black and white.
