Two clubs on Koop, Juve set asking price

Juventus are closely monitoring Ronald Koeman’s upcoming Netherlands squad decisions, with particular attention on Teun Koopmeiners, whose season in Turin has so far failed to meet expectations.

According to Tuttosport, the club sees the international stage as a possible showcase that could revive interest in the midfielder and open the door to a summer departure, helping balance the financial books before June.

The Dutch midfielder’s performances are being carefully evaluated both in Italy and by national team staff ahead of the next international break.

Koeman’s Plans and Koopmeiners’ Fight for Recognition

Koopmeiners, formerly of Atalanta, has struggled to impose himself even under Luciano Spalletti. The Juventus coach attempted to reinvent him as a left-sided defender in a back three, hoping to exploit his build-up qualities, but the experiment quickly lost momentum.

Today, the Dutch midfielder is increasingly viewed as a sellable asset, especially as the club prioritizes economic sustainability.

His agent, Bart Baving, was reportedly spotted at the Continassa training complex just yesterday to discuss his future.

Transfer Scenario and National Team Pressure

Juventus are unwilling to accept offers below €30 million to avoid registering a capital loss, and interest is already emerging from Manchester United and Galatasaray, both of whom are monitoring his situation closely.

The coming five league matches could prove decisive for Koopmeiners, as he must convince Spalletti to grant him more playing time in order to keep his place in the Dutch national team setup.

A potential sale would give Juventus crucial financial breathing room and allow the club to reinvest in new targets aligned with the coach’s tactical vision.

Both the player and the club are now hoping for a final spark in the season that could either revive his standing or confirm an imminent summer separation, as reported by Tuttosport.
