Khephren Thuram‘s future at Juventus could play a crucial role in shaping the club’s midfield plans for the upcoming season.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the French midfielder’s impressive growth since arriving from Nice in the summer of 2024 has significantly increased his market value, opening the door to a potentially lucrative transfer.

Juventus invested around €20 million to bring Thuram to Turin, and his performances have strengthened his reputation across Europe.

As a result, any future sale could generate a substantial capital gain for the Bianconeri, while also providing fresh financial resources to reinvest in the squad.

The Turin giants are continuing to evaluate their options as they look to build a competitive team capable of challenging both domestically and in Europe. A major sale could give the club greater flexibility in the transfer market and accelerate plans for several key targets.

Goretzka Remains a Priority for the Bianconeri

One of the names that continues to attract strong interest from Juventus is Leon Goretzka. The German international is expected to leave Bayern Munich, and he remains highly regarded by the club’s management as they search for experience and quality in midfield.

Discussions with Goretzka’s representatives have reportedly never completely stopped, although his salary demands remain the biggest obstacle.

The midfielder currently earns figures that exceed Juventus’ preferred wage structure, meaning a deal would require compromises from both sides.

From a sporting perspective, however, Goretzka is viewed as an ideal addition. With more than 500 appearances across club and international football, he would bring leadership, tactical intelligence and valuable experience at the highest level.

His ability to contribute in both defensive and attacking phases, combined with his goal-scoring threat from midfield, makes him a profile Juventus have admired for a long time.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, much could depend on Thuram’s situation. Should the Frenchman depart, the resulting funds could prove decisive in turning Juventus’ long-standing interest in Goretzka into a concrete move during the summer transfer window.
