Ruben Loftus-Cheek’s time at AC Milan could be coming to an end, with the current season potentially his last in the Rossoneri shirt.

According to Fichajes, the 30-year-old midfielder is not particularly interested in extending his contract, while Milan themselves also appear reluctant to offer him a new deal. His current agreement is set to expire on June 30.

With his future increasingly uncertain, several clubs are reportedly monitoring the situation. Among them is Juventus, who could see an opportunity to strengthen their midfield by signing an experienced player without paying a transfer fee.

Spalletti Approves the Idea for Loftus-Cheek

The potential move has reportedly received the approval of Juventus head coach Luciano Spalletti. The Italian manager is said to appreciate Loftus-Cheek’s combination of physical strength and technical ability, while his experience in Serie A could also make him an attractive option for the Bianconeri.

A free transfer would allow Juventus to add a proven midfielder without committing a significant fee, although any potential deal would depend on the player’s contract situation and negotiations over personal terms.

From Chelsea to Milan

Loftus-Cheek came through Chelsea’s academy and spent a season on loan at Fulham before making a permanent move to AC Milan in 2023. The Italian club invested €18.9 million to bring him to Lombardy.

Since arriving at Milan, the Englishman has made 105 official appearances, contributing 13 goals and four assists across competitions.

His experience at the highest level of English and Italian football is now reportedly making him a potential target for Juventus as they consider options for the future. If you want, I can also make 10 very short, strong, click-worthy titles for this article.
