Juventus and Milan on Gyökeres! This is the price

A major name has returned to the radar of Serie A clubs, with Viktor Gyökeres potentially emerging as one of the most interesting names in the upcoming transfer windows.

According to TuttoJuve, the Arsenal striker is attracting attention in Italy, with both Juventus and AC Milan monitoring his situation.

However, any potential deal would be extremely difficult due to Arsenal’s demands. The Gunners are reportedly not interested in a loan deal and would only consider a permanent transfer for a fee exceeding £60 million (around €70 million).

Juventus Monitoring the Situation

Juventus are keeping an eye on the striker market, and Gyökeres is naturally one of the names capable of attracting significant attention.

The Swedish international possesses qualities that could fit Luciano Spalletti’s system, including his physical strength, ability to attack space, link-up play in the final third and strong presence inside the penalty area.

At 28, Gyökeres is also entering the prime years of his career. Nevertheless, Juventus’ interest should currently be viewed as monitoring rather than an active negotiation.

There is not enough evidence at this stage to suggest that the Bianconeri have opened concrete talks with Arsenal.

Milan Also Exploring the Situation

Milan have reportedly made an initial enquiry to understand the striker’s situation. The Rossoneri are also not believed to have submitted an offer, with their first objective being to determine whether Arsenal could consider a loan during the January transfer window.

The response from London appears to have been clear: Arsenal have no intention of allowing Gyökeres to leave temporarily. Only a permanent sale would potentially be considered, with a valuation above £60 million.

That price tag is therefore the biggest obstacle to a January move to Serie A. Both Juventus and Milan would need to make a huge financial investment, particularly with both clubs expected to address other areas of their squads as well.
