Juventus OPEN to SELL this player for €25M

Teun Koopmeiners’ future at Juventus is increasingly uncertain, with the club reportedly prepared to consider his departure during the January transfer window.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus are looking to move on from the Dutch midfielder, who joined the Bianconeri from Atalanta two years ago in a deal worth €58 million.

Despite the considerable investment, the 28-year-old has so far failed to live up to the expectations created by his arrival.

Juventus Open to a January Departure for Koopmeiners

Koopmeiners’ situation could become one of the stories to follow when the winter transfer window opens. La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Juventus are once again looking at the possibility of finding a permanent solution for the midfielder.

There was already interest in Koopmeiners last summer, with several clubs from Italy, other European countries and Saudi Arabia showing an interest in the Netherlands international, who has earned 32 caps for his country.

However, no deal was ultimately completed. One of the main reasons was Juventus’ position on a potential loan. The Italian club was not prepared to consider a temporary departure, meaning the interested parties were unable to take the operation forward.

Permanent Transfer the Priority

The situation could now be different in January. Juventus’ objective is reportedly to secure a permanent transfer for Koopmeiners, rather than another loan proposal.

The midfielder still has a contract with the club until 2029, while his current valuation is reported at around €25 million.

After two years in Turin, his future could therefore be decided by the opportunities that emerge during the upcoming winter market.
