Jonathan David’s adventure at Juventus could already be heading toward an unexpected conclusion.

After a disappointing season in Turin, the Canadian striker has also struggled to make a strong impression during the opening stages of Juventus’ summer preparations.

His future is therefore becoming increasingly uncertain, with a return to France now emerging as a realistic possibility.

According to Quotidiano Sportivo (QS), via Calciomercato, Paris Saint-Germain have made a concrete enquiry about David and could soon take the next step by presenting an official offer to Juventus for the striker.

The possibility is particularly intriguing given David’s previous experience in Ligue 1, where he established himself as one of the division’s most dangerous forwards during his spell with Lille between 2020 and 2025.

PSG Make Contact as Juventus Consider David’s Exit

The report suggests that PSG are seriously evaluating the Canadian as a potential attacking option and have already sounded out the situation surrounding his availability.

While no formal agreement has been reached at this stage, an offer from the French champions in the coming hours could accelerate negotiations.

For Juventus, the situation could be viewed from a financial and sporting perspective. The Bianconeri are reportedly valuing David’s transfer at around €25–30 million, a figure that could provide the club with useful resources to reshape its attack.

Crucially, Juventus would reportedly not oppose a sale if suitable conditions are presented. David’s departure would allow the club to recover part of its investment while simultaneously creating room for another attacking addition.

Juventus Could Reinvest the Money in Zirkzee

A potential transfer would also fit into Juventus’ broader strategy of rebuilding the forward line. With David seemingly struggling to establish himself as a central figure, the club could use the money generated by his sale to pursue a replacement.

One name mentioned in connection with that plan is Joshua Zirkzee, who could become a target if Juventus receive the expected funds from David’s departure.

The Dutch striker would represent a different profile and could offer the Bianconeri another option in the final third.

For David, meanwhile, a return to Ligue 1 could offer the opportunity to restart his career in familiar surroundings.

His five years at Lille showed his ability to thrive in French football, and PSG’s interest could give him the chance to return to a league where he previously enjoyed considerable success.

Everything now depends on whether PSG transform their initial enquiry into a concrete proposal. If that happens, Juventus could quickly find itself facing an important decision over the future of one of its most talked-about attacking players.
