Fabrizio Romano: Juventus showing interest in Two Top Strikers

According to renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, this summer could present intriguing opportunities for Italian clubs in search of attacking reinforcements.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Romano revisited two names he had already highlighted earlier this year—players who could become key figures in the upcoming transfer window.

Romano emphasized that both Darwin Núñez and Nicolas Jackson are forwards worth keeping a close eye on. While he avoided linking them directly to specific clubs such as Juventus or Milan, he made it clear that their situations could evolve quickly.

What makes these players particularly interesting is not just their availability, but also their openness to new challenges—especially in Serie A.

Why Serie A Could Be the Perfect Fit

One of the key points Romano underlined is the players’ attraction to Italian football. In a league where tactical awareness and individual importance often go hand in hand, both Núñez and Jackson could find the environment they need to thrive.

Unlike at some of Europe’s biggest clubs, where competition is fierce and roles can be limited, Serie A often offers players the chance to become central figures in their teams.

Núñez, in particular, has a notable history with Italian interest. Romano revealed that the Uruguayan striker had been keen on joining Napoli last summer.

However, the deal did not materialize due to financial considerations and strategic decisions by the club, which ultimately opted for a different profile in attack.

Despite that, Romano insists that Núñez’s desire to play in Italy was genuine and remains relevant today. As for Jackson, his situation appears more fluid.

Currently on loan at Bayern, he is expected to return to Chelsea, opening the door for potential moves elsewhere. His profile, combining physicality and technical ability, could appeal to several Italian sides looking to refresh their attacking options.

While clubs like Juventus may explore multiple striker options before making a final decision, Romano’s message is clear: these are two names that should not be overlooked.

As the summer transfer window approaches, both Núñez and Jackson could emerge as compelling opportunities for teams aiming to strengthen their frontline.
