Comolli has rejected big offer for Khephren Thuram

Juventus are already working behind the scenes to secure the long-term future of Khephren Thuram, who has quickly established himself as one of the club’s most important players.

According to Nico Schira, the Bianconeri are planning to open renewal talks with the entourage of the French midfielder in the coming months, with a clear objective in mind: extending his contract until at least 2030.

The strategy is aimed at protecting the club from potential summer approaches by Europe’s top sides and confirming Thuram as a central figure in Juventus’ sporting project.

Contract renewal and salary adjustment on the table

Thuram has become a pillar of the Juventus midfield in just a year and a half, but his current salary does not reflect his importance within the squad.

At present, the No.19 earns around €2.2 million per season, a figure that does not even place him among the club’s top ten earners. For this reason, Juventus are ready to reward his performances with a significant salary increase, which could see his wages rise to approximately €3.5 million per year plus bonuses.

There is mutual willingness from both sides to continue together, and early signals suggest optimism around the talks.

Juventus have already demonstrated their commitment through actions rather than words. Over the past several months, the club have rejected multiple high-profile offers for the 2001-born midfielder.

These included a €50 million cash proposal from a Saudi club in early June, as well as interest from Paris Saint-Germain, which emerged during discussions related to Randal Kolo Muani’s situation.

In all cases, the response from the club was firm: Thuram is not for sale.

Juventus shut the door to all suitors

The same stance was taken with Inter, who recently explored a move for Thuram, a player highly appreciated by their coach Cristian Chivu.

The Nerazzurri reportedly proposed Davide Frattesi plus €10 million, an offer considered respectable but immediately rejected. Juventus are not open to negotiations, especially with a direct rival, and view Thuram as untouchable.

While Frattesi is a player Juventus admire, the club have no intention of sacrificing their midfield leader. Instead, the plan is to make Thuram a long-term symbol of the team.

Even scouts from the Premier League have been regularly monitoring him at the Allianz Stadium, but English interest, like all others, is expected to be turned away.

A new contract would further silence any external temptation and solidify Khephren Thuram’s future in black and white, as Juventus aim to return to the top with him at the heart of their project.
