The rivalry between Juventus and AC Milan is no longer limited to the race for a Champions League spot.
The two Italian giants are now preparing for another major showdown in the summer transfer market, with both clubs desperately searching for the same profile: a proven 20-goal striker.

According to Nicolò Schira, both Serie A heavyweights have identified Alexander Sørloth as a serious target ahead of the new season.
After several attacking disappointments in recent years, neither club can afford another expensive mistake.
Sørloth Emerges as the Ideal Solution
Despite turning 31 in December, Sørloth continues to prove himself as one of Europe’s most reliable finishers.
The powerful Norwegian striker fits perfectly into the tactical demands of both Luciano Spalletti and AC Milan, who are both looking for a physically dominant centre-forward capable of leading the line alone.
His current salary, believed to be around €3 million per season plus bonuses, is considered manageable for Italian clubs.
Meanwhile, Atlético Madrid are reportedly open to negotiations starting at around €35 million, although a deal closer to €30 million plus bonuses could eventually be enough.

Considering today’s inflated transfer market, many inside Italian football see Sørloth as a potential bargain. The former RB Leipzig striker enjoyed an impressive campaign in Spain, scoring 20 goals despite frequently starting from the bench.
He found the net 13 times in La Liga, added six more goals in the Champions League, and also scored in the Spanish Super Cup.
Juventus Also Monitoring Kolo Muani and Zirkzee
Juventus have already started preliminary contacts with Sørloth’s entourage, although two unnamed Premier League clubs are also keeping close tabs on the striker.
However, the English sides currently interested are not expected to play European football next season, something that could work in favour of the Bianconeri and Milan.
At the same time, Juventus continue to monitor Randal Kolo Muani, who is reportedly eager to return to Turin after a disappointing spell away from Paris Saint-Germain. The French international could cost between €30-35 million.
Another name on Juventus’ shortlist is Joshua Zirkzee, who appears increasingly likely to leave Manchester United this summer.
His agent, Kia Joorabchian, is actively searching for solutions and has already offered the striker to both Juventus and AS Roma.
