Juventus join race for Future Top center-back

Juventus are reportedly among five European giants keeping a close eye on Stuttgart defender Finn Jeltsch, with the highly rated German emerging as one of the most sought-after young centre-backs in Europe.

According to Fussballdaten, Juventus face fierce competition for the 20-year-old, with Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool and Bayern Munich also said to be monitoring his situation.

Stuttgart Set Major Price Tag

However, signing Jeltsch will not be straightforward. Fussballdaten reports that Stuttgart have no intention of letting one of their most important young players leave cheaply and would demand at least €50 million for his transfer.

The price is particularly significant given Jeltsch’s age, but his performances and rapid development have clearly caught the attention of several top clubs.

The defender is under contract with Stuttgart until 2030, putting the Bundesliga side in a strong position during any potential negotiations.

Jeltsch has impressed not only with his defensive qualities but also with his composure on the ball, tactical intelligence and maturity despite being just 20 years old.

The German talent has also recently made it clear that he is in no rush to leave Stuttgart, believing that his current environment remains the right place to continue his development.

A Rapid Rise in Germany for Finn Jeltsch

A product of Nürnberg’s academy, the Neuendettelsau-born defender joined Stuttgart in 2025 and has since made 54 official appearances for the club, registering two assists.

His progress has also been recognised at international level, with Jeltsch already earning six appearances for Germany’s Under-21 national team.

With Juventus continuing to look towards the future and the competition for elite young defenders becoming increasingly intense, Jeltsch could be a name to watch closely.

However, with four other European giants reportedly in the race and Stuttgart demanding at least €50 million, the Bianconeri would face a major battle if they decide to make a concrete move for the talented defender.
